Kim Seiber grew up dancing in California’s Central Valley where she studied jazz, tap, ballet, pointe, hip-hop, choreography, and stage direction. At the young age of 15, Kim was already instructing her first beginning jazz and pre-dance classes at The Ballet Workshop of Hanford. In Fresno, Kim performed with the Cal Bowl Dancers under the direction of Sue Sampson-Dalena, the director of The Dance Studio.
Kim focused on fitness after she moved to the San Diego area where she met and married her husband, Mike, fourteen years ago. She is an ACE certified personal trainer who specializes in youth fitness. In expanding her love of Musical Theater, she has recently conducted acting classes and camps for kids. She is now a substitute teacher of cardio hip hop at Frog’s Fitness and Pacific Athletic Club-both local San Diego gyms, and has brought her own style of high energy hip hop to NCDA’s Friday morning students.
Kim has performed as a back-up dancer/choreographer to Billboard recording artist, Miz Mandy, appearing in her most recent music video. For the past three years Kim has choreographed and performed with her group of energetic NCDA dancers for a public performance entitled “All For You” where proceeds from the event benefit underprivileged youth.
By continuing to study dance throughout California, Kim is able to educate her students on the newest styles and techniques. She enjoys teaching a variety of classes and levels at NCDA and is happy to share her passion with her son, Brody, who also has rhythm and is following in mom’s footsteps.
