Class #1 begins with the simplest basic ballet, jazz and tap steps in a simple and easy to follow way, allowing young dancers the experience of participating in a "real" dance class, learning "real" dance technique and exercises. It's not pretend dancing. Each DVD 'class' is progressive. Young dancers will be able to not only repeat exercises they know, but will be able to add to their dance knowledge with the basic step progressions that continue through each DVD 'class' in the series. As is the McKay's style, all is viewed in a "classroom" environment from behind the instructors in everyday, easy to understand language that targets the youngest of students. The two camera feature allows the student to participate in exercises "just like in class" with a second view allowing young dancers to connect with the instructors and featured dancers face to face. Child friendly chaptering and titles allow the young student to review any exercises or just repeat her or his favorite part of class.
